Almost opposite Big Ben is the London Eye and I was there recently with the clan, one thing it definitely is impressive but it is also expensive but then so is all London's attractions. Que was long to purchase tickets but kept moving but thankfully not too long to get on board and the view is impressive. Wasn't overally amazed by the 4D show and felt it was only an excuse to get you to purchase a photo!!! Still it is one of these things that you have to do but look out for ways to save by... This attraction is open every day except Christmas. I really enjoyed the slow pace of the journay as we travelled around the circle. It was a fine day when we went up on the London Eye so we were very lucky and got to see for miles. They reckon on a very good day that you might be able to spot Windsor Castle. The trip took just over thirty minutes and cost under twenty pound each.... Read more...

The London Eye trip was ok. If you want to get a high rise view of London then this maybe te trip for you. It is open all year round. The trip for me was a little slow going round. I know it was not an amusement park I was at but I would have preferred if it went a little quicker. The reason for this was, I felt I was wasting sightseeing time just going around in a slow circle. Never something I felt necessary to do as a visitor to the city. However now that I have i would highly recommend. Queues can be a bit odf a hassle, but in general not worth paying extra to fasttrack as they move relatively quickly Do do the 4D experience, its amazing. Not a cheap attraction but I felt it was worth it.... Read more...
