Great CBT at getbike

Have just completed a CBT. The course was about 8 hours and very well organised. It was divided into classroom theory, on-site bike riding skills, followed by a 2 hour scooter ride on the roads with an instructor and two students. Toby, my instructor, was an excellent teacher - extremely knowledgable, professional, proficient, polished and with a sense of humour - a cross between Ricky Gervais - well more like his character David Brent in The Office and Dom Joly. Needed to do a Pre CBT after making a poor attempt first time round! Had Trainee Instructor Kevin - from Canada. Kevin got straight down to finding out what my difficulties had been on the CBT and he worked on those things straight away. His calm, gentle manner was great and had me sorted on my problem areas immediately. At the end of the session on the pad, I was able to undertake all the manouvers for basic CBT with ease and subtle confidence. Thank you Kevin. I would recommend a pre CBT... Read more...

Great thorough training at Getbike

Great thorough training and all your questions, if you have any, will be answered. The course really is as easy, or as hard, as you make it. Listen carefully to instructions, apply everything you're told whilst riding and you'll fly through the training. If you're doing something wrong, for example relying on the throttle being spring-loaded to slow down, you will be reminded, given advice, and asked to repeat the instructions until you can clearly demonstrate your understanding of the task....
