a trip to hamleys to have a look at the christmas window display is a absolute must, such effort goes into it. love the fact that they have whole floors dedicated to a particular type of toy e.g dolls, soft toys.i find you need at least a morning here by which time youre probably worn out anyway.it can take even longer if you have children of various ages too. didnt eat in the cafe as it looked pretty busy but then it was a saturday, which is to be avoided.good for little gifts also for... This is the sort of toy shop that children dream about. The displays themselves have an awful lot of thought put into them and they are just amazing. You could spend hours and hours just browsing here. They have all the usual popular things that you would be looking for such as Sylvanian Families sets and Playmobile pieces and they also go to the other traditional end of things stocking such toys as plastic buckets of soldiers and farm animals and colouring pens. After seeing Michael Jackson on television going on a mad shopping spree here when I was young, this place stuck in my mind. So I was not going past Hamleys without going in. It is brillant. This is a huge shop. The floors are divided into age and gender but there is something for every age group here. They sell the usual brands such as Fisher Price. The prices are great so it is brillant for gift shopping. The staff were wonderful but why wouldn't they be cheerful working here. I loved this... Read more...

All toy lovers must go to Hamley's! It has like 5 floors and has absolutely everything you could want to play with. I love the energetic toy displays. My favourite parts are the stuffed toy section (they have WWF toys in basically every animal imaginable), the nerdy replica section in glass cases (they have replicas of basically every Harry Potter item eg Marauder's Map) and the sweets section (huge Jelly Belly pick n mix!).
