Harrods
(03 October 2011)
by: Dee D. 4 out of 5
Harrods is a dream of a store to shop in and dream of being rich and buying lots and lots of beautiful items. Each floor is a delight to browse in and the last time we were there was at Christmas time and the decorations were just glorious. Everything that you would want is located in the store. Its like Brown Thomas only much fancier. Everything is quite expensive, clothes, food, jewellery, perfume and everything is so upmarket and luxurious and they have lovely kitchen ware. It is a pleasure... Read more...

A must for tourists!
(06 July 2011)
by: P. K. 4 out of 5
I spent several hours in here on my last trip to London. It's a fantastic experience even if you don't buy anything! It's huge with 7 floors of wonderful products and sights and it also has a restaurant or cafe on several floors. Even travelling from one floor to another is fun. The food hall was an experience - pints of milk on one shelf, caviar on another! They also have the most delicious fudge, great for a gift (if you can manage not to eat it yourself beforehand). It is ridiculously... Read more...

Harrods

I got off the sightseeing bus at Harrods. I really was looking forward to going into this famous shop and it did not let me down. It is fabulous. There are so many floors with so much to see. You would want to spend the entire day in here. The perfume area is brilliant. There is a restaurant on the top floor if you need a break which is lovely. It is a very posh shop with lots of things I will never be able to afford, sadly.... Read more...

definitely one to put on the sightseeing list when you visit london as its one of those iconic places and so much more than just a department store.lovely to wander round and have a browse as you wont be buying too much unless you are on a fairly healthy budget!amazing range of designer goods but also great to have a coffee there and just people watch and maybe spy the odd celebrity too.think the cheapest "souveneir " item i spotted was a small biscuit tin for 12 pounds!... This is similar to Harvey Nichols. Harrods is also a deparment store ut a very posh one. They request that you dress clean and appropriate when you drop into this shop. You can purchase anything here, from clothing to food (if you can afford). It contains seven floors. There are also restaurants if you feel hungry or would just like a sit down. You can pass hours in here just browsing.... Read more...

Harrods

Harrods, its one of the things that every tourist should make a point of seeing when on a trip to London. It just screams luxury. Its huge, so have a meet-up point in case you lose a member of your party. They stock all the top designers and you can get anything here from perfume to luxurious hampers. Needless to say, I did'nt manage to spend all my millions here, but I picked up some knick-knacks and a few little Christmas decorations. I'll be back for more as soon as I win the big one in the... Fantastic

This is a fantastic department store. I only wish I had enough money to spend here. The store exterior is simply outstanding. Inside the store reminded me of Macys in New York. You can buy everything you could possible think of here from household goods to clothing. The shop is so big youcould get lost in it. They also have a restaurant area. The staff are extremely well presented. It is a very posh place. Pity everything so expensive here.... Read more...

Amazing!
(04 April 2011)

Harrods is really the prime example of what every department should be. Granted that not every Debenhams, or even Harvey Nichols has as many floors or has the demand to cater to so many different tastes like Harrods does and really only can( I mean who would ever need a pet spa in County Cork?) But it is one of the few retail havens on this earth that really inspires an awe in people no matter what age they are, be it 5 or 75. It really is the place where you could pick up anything you need or... Read more...

If I ever go to Harrods, I know that I need to give myself at least a few hours - if necessary I could quite happily spend days in here. It's an experience more than just a shop. While they certainly have plenty for people with very deep pockets - there is also more than enough that could be bought without breaking the bank. The cafe is fantastic - excellent service and a wonderful place for lunch or afternoon tea - well worth the money. The food hall is the best one I've ever seen, although I... Read more...

Harrod's--a nice place to shop
(12 February 2011)
by: Jan M. 4 out of 5
Harrod's actually hasn't changed much since I was here many years ago. I tried the salt beef sandwich. I'm addicted to those! I wasn't really impressed with the caraway seeds in the cole slaw, though. Ick. However, the Food Court was amazing. I love the place. It's everything one could want in a high class department store...a deli, a food court, a candy court, a grocery, not to mention all the regular stuff, like clothes, shoes, etc. Visit Harrod's if you get the chance.... Pure Class

When I got inside, it was amazing. I felt like I was in a fairy tale. But instead of pink bows and candy houses, this fairy tale so full of designers label. I read the sign about many arcades in that building. I don’t care much about the sign, since I was really impressed with it, I just walked to anywhere my feet taking me. I saw rows of designers label counter….Gucci, Celine, Dior, Hermes, Ferragamo, and of course, Louis Vuitton…and yeah, many more. I can find every label... Read more...
