This has to be the biggest and best department store in the UK. It has everything one could possibly want. On my recent visit I bought a digital camera, which worked out much cheaper than if I bought it in Ireland. Fab shopping experience

Probably the best trained department store staff in Ireland, England and Wales. From the moment you approach the front door you know this will be an amazing shopping experience whether you buy or not. I could spend hours walking through the food hall. Exquisite food presented beautifully. The other feature of this store is their staff. No assumptions are made about the depth of your pocket , everyone is a potential customer with a platnium card. A day is hardly enough to 'explore' this luxury store- everything imaginable on sale from antiques to yacht charters and everything in between!Even the bookstore is extensive, and the toy department heaven (even for an adult!).Every conceivable fashion , jewellery , perfume for everyone Want to but an apartment ?-even an in-house estate agency and travel deopartment. I was in London over New Years and of course we had to stop in here and have a look around. This place is very impressive and has so much to offer. Obviously most things are really expensive but its still a fun place to go and have a look around- especially since it so famous! I was particuarly interested to see the Chanel bag collection which was surprisingly small i thought! Whenever I'm in London I always go to Harrods. They sell everything from clothes to beds to food. It is really big and if you split up with your friend in here can be quite hard to find them again unless you both have a mobile with you. I love the pet section especially! Just seeing the classy large beds shaped like the nicest sofa you've ever seen is really a treat! They have such a wide selection of everything from food to beds to clothes for all your pets and the staff here are really nice... Read more...

Appalling customer relations

Now, I thought I'd only post reviews about places I had a good experience in, but Harrods was so bad, it deserves a mention. 2 years ago we were in London for 3 days and we had overall a fantastic experience, the only place that almost spoiled it for us was Harrods. Harrods is basically a must if you're in the UK, it's great and the staff are excellent, they have the best service of any department store I've ever been in. The store is huge, and there is so much to look it - it'd be impossible to see everything! Harrods a tourist attraction

Harrods is an institution in its own right rather than just a great big department store. Harrods is to London as what Macys is to New York. Tourists are attracted to the store just as much as the rich & famous who think nothing of spending here. Alas very few tourists purchase anything of great importance but its brilliant fun having a look around. You need time here though as so many different sections. whenever i go to the uk i always visit Harrods the store if just fab. I always go to the food hall and buy people presents home like little tins of biscuits or tins of tea in the harrods tin. they have a great selection of designer clothes and their pet shop is a must to visit. they have doggie jackets, collars made from crystals etc. It is very expensive but worth going just to see the store.... I go to the UK quite often and any time i'm in the London area I try to make time for a visit to Harrods. If you are just going in to "browse" you'll need a whole day at the very least, I could spend weeks in here and not get bored! They have multiple floors with everything you can imagine, cosmetics, lingerie, food halls, beauty treatments, and more. This department store isn't cheap but its a fun luxurious shopping experience.... Read more...

When I got inside, it was amazing. I felt like I was in a fairy tale. But instead of pink bows and candy houses, this fairy tale so full of designers label. I read the sign about many arcades in that building. I don’t care much about the sign, since I was really impressed with it, I just walked to anywhere my feet taking me. I saw rows of designers label counter….Gucci, Celine, Dior, Hermes, Ferragamo, and of course, Louis Vuitton…and yeah, many more. I can find every label... Read more...

Harrod's--a nice place to shop

Harrod's actually hasn't changed much since I was here many years ago. I tried the salt beef sandwich. I'm addicted to those! I wasn't really impressed with the caraway seeds in the cole slaw, though. Ick. However, the Food Court was amazing. I love the place. It's everything one could want in a high class department store...a deli, a food court, a candy court, a grocery, not to mention all the regular stuff, like clothes, shoes, etc. Visit Harrod's if you get the chance....
