Housed in an impressive building and in the very nice location of Salford Quays, The Lowry is definitely worth a visit. Entrance is by voluntary contribution and there are three main gallery rooms to see. Periodic talks are given by a curator and it's worth checking when these are held as they add enormously to the visit experience. There are other rooms covering dance and drama, completely unrelated to Lowry. In the Lowry is a theatre, art gallery and Lowry Gallery along with a small area... Read more...
