Too crowded.

The attraction itself is quite interesting and listening to the lives of those people who inhabited the close was good but unfortunately, we didn't get to see as much as we would have liked because of the size of our group (20 people). Some of the rooms you visit just can't hold this amount of people comfortably. Each tour is packed out for the maxiumum amount of people - obviously to make more money. Amazing slice of history

I would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Edinburgh. I found this tour brilliant, very entertaining and informative, the guide was interesting and captivating. The smells underground conjoured up all sorts of images to go along with the stories being told!! To think of people living in such a dark and awful place was truely unbelievable. This tour can be pre booked on line which is handy as it can be quite busy. Well worth a visit.... Read more...
