The shop itself is on Oxford Street, right in the centre of the city, the nearest tube station is Bond Street (how apt, right next to my college building...) or Marble Arch. You can't miss Selfridges itself. To quote someone I once knew "it's the huge-ass expensive looking shop which says 'selfridges and co' on the door". Favorite shop in London!

I think this has to be my favorite department store in London! From going as a teenager with my mum for my 1st make up lesson to visiting as an adult to meet friends for drinks this will always have a special place in my heart! The reason I love this place now is the selection of departments throughout the store - from Topshop to Tiffanys and HMV to Hermes whats not to love!! Very Impressive!

This department store is very impressive! Caters for all budgets as it has all the top designer labels-Chanel, Marc Jacobs, to name a few, and also stocks high street brands such as Topshop, Miss Selfridges, Ted Baker, French Connection and many more. Prices vary, depending on brand. Staff are very friendly, and help in every way they can to get another size etc. I only got time to look at clothes, but I know this store does a huge range of menswear, food, cosmetics, homewear and much more! Drool worthy department store! I absolutely love this Selfridges store. There is so many different products and something for everyones budget. Want a dress for £50? They have it. Want one for £500? They'll have it too. The makeup section is great and all of the girls in the store are so helpful and knowledgeable about makeup and the products they're selling, much better than BT's back in Ireland in my opinion! ... Selfridge's--a lovely place for food, but not for shoes

I was in London in 1979, 1980, and 2009. I loved the place in the first two years, because it was, in my opinion, the poor man's Harrod's, quite affordable. When I returned in 2009, however, I found that some of the items were priced higher than at Harrod's. It would have cost a minimum of $50 for tennis shoes...each shoe! great store to wander round if you have a couple of hours.something for every budget and huge amount of choice.used to have a friend who worked here so used to get lots of things on staff discount ..happy days!.fantastic cosmetics department and also love their range of jewellry especially the mikey stuff.love the range of biba clothing that they stock. they cant be beaten either for the outstanding standard of customer service. other department stores could learn from them....
