The Illicit Still, a Punch Pubco house, is sadly up for sale! Over a number of years this pub has changed hands more times than a card dealer at a poker game. There have been spats where two pumps of real on, then a time when there was a range of bottled and draught premium lagers. It was a good place for meeting friends, enjoying the craic, and of course the beer. Great wee bar.

Really nice, decent pub with great hospitality and well kept beer. Staff are friendly and helpfull and very good value for money. There should be more honest pubs like this. If you want fancy or unusual then head somewhere else. Want a good pint, free wifi and decent folk to chat to then this is the place. Nuff said.... Read more...
