Best museum in London!
(09 November 2011)

Easily the best museum to visit in London, with or without children. It's jam packed full of absolutely fascinating stuff - from rocks and minerals to dinosaurs and the big blue whale. A treat for anyone. Just give yourself enough time to look around. There are loads of cafes and shops to feed and treat yourself too. ... Read more...

The Natural History Museum is houses a wonderful variety of things to see. You can view exhibitions of dinosaur skeletons and many just come to look of the architecture of the buuilding itself. They do not charge an entrance fee, which is fantastic. It is a very educational and interesting place to pass a few hours. There is plenty to see for all ages here.... Read more...

It is one of our favourites. The statues and the stairs in the entrance are fantastic. Everything is very detailed and well explained, very scientific. I loved the gift shop especially necklaces from some valuable stones. I still can't believe it is free.... Read more...

Absolutely brilliant!

We were in London for a few days with a preschooler and this museum was one of the things that loads of people recommended we visit while there. It is absolutely spectacular! There was hardly enough time to see it all in one go as we were a bit tired after all the walking we had done before, but the map was very helpful, so we decided where we wanted to go and stuck to the plan. the blue whale and the dinosaur exhibition were the ones that our 4 yo old wanted to see and they were really... When in London over New Years my other half really really wanted to go and visit the Natural History Museum, I wasn’t so keen it has to be said. But when we got there I thought that it was amazing and well worth the visit. This particular one is probably one of, if not the, best natural history museums in the world. The range that they have here is brilliant. The museum was jam packed all day and I think amount of people that were there just demonstrates how good it is. At the time when... Read more...

great day out
(17 June 2010)
by: Laura B. 4 out of 5
We had a hilarious day here, taking pictures of all the weird stuffed creatures and skeletons. There were also some great interactive displays on the human body. The place is massive and we didn't get to cover everything. In fact, we got a little lost trying to find the cloakroom and get out... Would definitely recommend to anyone as a date or to bring small children to. Just make sure you bring your own food- the queue in the cafe was obscene and naturally it was a little overpriced....
