Attended a conference in the International ConferenceCentre across the road, and stayed here. It is 5* and deserves to be. Dramatic views of Edinburgh Castle from the bedroon, a few minutes walk from Waverley Station / Princes Street.. Room was modern and huge- huge ultra comfy king-size bed, slippers , bathrobe, mini bar trouser press , tea and coffee making facilities ,Wi Fi and some nice toiletries in the bathroom (nice always to bring some home!)
