Magical Setting

Wonderful experience here-the view over the city is as spectacular as the majestic sight of the Castle from just about anywhere in the immediate city.So much to seehere -the museum with the Crown jewels and historical and military artefacts and medals; the chapel with its sombre war memorials . Great ceremony and pageant too, with the changing of the guard and a strong military presence (it is a military base too). The outdoor cafe is pretty good, with a wide selection of hot and cold food and beverages.Lots of interesting shops, museums , restaurants etc, all just outside the castle perimeter. Lovely way to spend a morning or afternoon.
Nigel would recommend. Nigel would use again.
