I was told that this was the largest shopping centre in the UK until Westfield came to London. I don't know how true this is, but what I do know is that, visually, Westfield has nothing on the Trafford Centre. This place has the most amazing, regal exterior. Inside you'll find basically every shop under the sun. The most impressive part, for me, was the food court. There is a beautiful dining area for the proper restaurants. The fast food area, however, is no less breathtaking. It's located in a large dome, where the ceiling is painted like the sky changing from day to night...and there are little fairy lights representing stars speckled across the whole thing. The ceiling is facing a large pool of water that looks like you could swim in it. Obviously you can't, but the overall ambience is absolutely amazing. And all just to make your Burger King experience just a little more pleasant...
